PC Professor is proud to be an authorized testing center for Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, Apple, Dell, Google, HP, Linux Professional Institute (LPI), Sun Microsystems, Ubuntu, Symantec, Nortel, NEC, Juniper Networks, Hitachi, Oracle, EC-Council (CEH), Adobe, IBM, Intuit, Autodesk, Citrix, D-Link, American Mensa, TSA, Verizon, Pearson, Certiport and Vue. While PC Professor offers large blocks of availability, the actual testing lab registration is handled independently by each respective company and is typically done on a first come, first served basis. Please see your School Admissions Representative for the exact procedures required for each of the various national certification exams.
The following are some general guidelines that will apply to most of the exams administered by our computer training school:
Please be cognizant of the fact that most testing vouchers expire one year from the date of issue.
You should arrive at our testing center at least 30 minutes before your test is scheduled to begin.
For Academic or Professional Licensure & Certification exams, you typically must have one valid government-issued ID bearing photo & signature. If the ID does not have either the photo or signature, a secondary ID must be presented that does. Acceptable forms of photo identification include:
- Driver’s license
- Military identification
- Employee identification card
Acceptable forms of non-photo identification include:
- Credit card
- Credit card
Please note: Credit cards and check cashing cards are not acceptable secondary ID for GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, PRAXIS, and NBPTS.
It is the test taker’s responsibility to review the often stringent ID requirements for the exam you are taking before making your appointment. Please refer to your exam sponsor registration information for their specific ID requirements.
Because the only item allowed into the testing area is identification, we encourage test takers to leave cell phones, purses and personal items at home or in their car. All personal items will need to be checked in at the front desk.
Food and drinks are not permitted in the computer testing room. Also, some of the exams that we administer do not provide for breaks. The exams that do not offer break time typically will allow you to leave the testing area to get a drink, go to the restroom or to take medication, however, the amount of time designated for that exam is not stopped when you are away from the testing computer.
Make sure to get a good night’s sleep the night before and to eat a good breakfast and/or nutritious lunch the day of the test.
We at PC Professor wish you the best of luck on your national exam and look forward to adding you to our list of nationally certified alumni.
